- Leave No Trace":
This is the most important principle; take all your litter and belongings with you, leaving the site as pristine as you found it.Fire Safety:Do not light fires in high-risk dry conditions or near buildings or dry vegetation. Use a camping stove for cooking and ensure it's on a level, non-flammable surface.Protect Wildlife and Nature:Do not feed wild animals, and keep a safe distance from farm animals. Leave rocks, flowers, plants, and natural habitats undisturbed.Dispose of Waste Properly:Bag and bin dog waste, and never use shampoo, soap, or detergents in natural water sources.Travel on Durable Surfaces:Stick to established paths and camp on durable surfaces, not on fragile vegetation.Keep music, TVs, and other noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours, which usually start around 10 or 11 PM.Respect Privacy:Don't walk through other people's campsites, and if you need to approach them, announce yourself.Supervise Children and Pets:Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Dogs should always be on a short lead and under control.Be a Good Neighbour:Don't shine bright lights into other campsites.Take Responsibility:Be responsible for your own safety and the consequences of your actions.Be Prepared:Ensure you have the necessary equipment and knowledge to deal with the environment.
